Do 10 repetitions going in both directions. A simple exercise you can do for your transverse abdominal muscles is the two-point bridge. To do this exercise you need to get into the up pushup position. Lift your right arm and left leg off the ground at the same time. After holding the position for about five seconds return to the pushup position. Every time you lift your leg and arm it will count as one rep. From here you can lift you left arm and right leg. As you reach each station you will do the workout for either a number of reps or for time. Circuit training keeps the heart rate up and at the same time as exercising many muscle groups making it great for both muscle endurance and a cardio workout. You should always be recording how long it takes to complete the circuits and push yourself to finish as fast as possible. You should do the circuits almost every other day giving yourself a day to rest in between. Really push yourself to beat your old time because the fast you can finish the circuits the more explosive you will become. Since nobody lives forever you will get hurt or injured while doing martial arts. It is what you do after you get hurt that will tell the most about your personality. It is good to know what your options are just incase you get hurt. If you feeling pain or soreness in the body but can still workout then you are probably just hurt. When you are hurt you should suck it up and deal with the pain. Always be very careful and air on the side of caution when trying to push through being hurt because you may actually be injured. Sit off on the sideline and take the time to catch your breath and figure out where the pain is coming from then take the necessary step of icing the hurt part. That extra salt will be combined with the amount of salt that is already in the food. Often times you will find that when you eat out one meal can equal more then half of your recommended daily allowance.
The recommended limit for sodium is 2,400 milligrams/day. Seriously think about that, 2,400mg looks like a high number but if you look on the back of most canned goods the sodium content is in the 200-2000mg range. Having a lot of sodium in the body can lead to hypertension also known as high blood pressure. People with high blood pressure are at risk for serious coronary heart diseases, strokes, and heart attacks in their lifetime.
It is far easier to consume large amounts of salt then most people think. Many canned foods will say that they have 750mg or more of sodium per serving. However if you actually read the label on the can it says that there are two, one cup servings.
