MMA-Five Remedies to Get Rid of Bruises

The first unorthodox way to get rid of bruises is to bandage a banana peel to bruise and leave it there overnight.   If you repeat this process for a few nights you will notice that the bruises will heal much faster.   The second way is to use Vick’s vapor rub there is an ingredient in the medication that seeps below the skin tissue to alleviate coloration. The third way is to take an aspirin because it will thin the blood.  If you take aspirin make sure you are taking the correct dosage. The fourth way is great for girls; use make-up to cover up the bruises. The fifth unorthodox way to get rid of bruises is to brew herbal tea bags. Then take the tea bags and place in them on your bruise for 25 minutes.  Do that twice a day especially before you go to sleep. BJJ-Be a Guard Buster

It’s a great guard break from the ground which takes away the risk of being swept or submitted. To begin make sure your knees are shoulder width apart and you are sitting straight up. If your knees are too close together it will be very easy for your opponent to just trap your arms and sweep you. You will end up mounted if you let that happen. In competition you will be down 6 points, 2 for the sweep and 4 for the mount, all because of incorrect posture. Also a little detail to note when you are in your opponent’s closed guard try to stay on your toes instead of the top part of your foot. Women Self Defense Classesstudents love this little detail because being on your toes will put you into the ready-to-go position when are able to open up the guard. It also adds a little stress to your opponent’s legs because they are elevated slightly higher than before. Next you want to make sure your elbows are inside their thighs and your hands are grabbing Gi material at their hip. Now you are going to walk your knees backwards and use your back to create stress on your opponent’s ankles. When the guard is open you immediately place one of your knees in the middle to prevent them for relocking the closed guard. You can pass in any way you like when you are in runner stance. Kickboxing – Your Heart And You

Womens Fitness Kickboxing students have to keep their hearts strong because it is one of the most important parts of the body. The heart is where you feel nervousness, love, strength, courage, sadness, and life. You need your heart to live. We all have hearts, but few understand the heart’s inner workings. If you have a better understanding of how the heart works you can understand your body better. You’ll understand how oxygen affects the heart and how it travels throughout your body.

 

The heart muscle is divided into the right and left sides and each side is divided again into upper and lower chambers. There are 4 separate chambers in the heart. The upper chamber of the heart is called the atria and the lower chamber of the heart is called the ventricles.Venous blood (blood coming back to the heart through the veins) is received by the heart which then pumps it from the right side to the lungs. The right atrium is the entry way for all the blood from the venous system, which flows to the right ventricle. When the heart muscle contracts, the right ventricle squeezes against the volume of blood that had filled the chamber and sends this blood to the lungs through the pulmonary arteries. When blood is in the lungs it gets fresh oxygen and sends carbon dioxide into the pulmonary capillaries. Womens Fitness Kickboxing students need that freshly oxygenated blood that returns to the left atrium through the pulmonary veins. From the left atrium that blood flows into the left ventricle. The right ventricle and the left ventricle contract simultaneously. Blood inside the left ventricle is pumped through the aorta, the largest artery in the body.

UFC Training- Body Weight Resistance Routine

Fighters who get the Best UFC Training know that body weight workouts are great. They are easy and convenient to do because the only piece of equipment that is required to use is your own body. Body weight workouts develop strength, endurance, and speed as well. Body weight exercises don’t use pulling movements and neglect other muscle groups which is a problem. BJJ Technique: Loop Choke from Closed Guard

You can also better control your opponent and the pace of the match. The toughest part about closed guard is getting your opponent in it. Your opponent will be looking out for the closed guard lock so they might keep their distance or low with their elbows blocking their hips. You have to be careful when you are trying to lock up the closed guard because they might be able to pass your guard if you are sloppy with your legs.  

Sometimes your opponent will gladly go into your closed guard especially if they are up by points and need to stall for time. They will get into your closed guard and will lay their heads down on your stomach with their elbows pinching your hips. Don’t panic if this situation occurs because there is a high percentage of attacks from there. The attack you can do from that stalling position in closed guard is called the loop choke. The grip should be so relaxed that your opponent won’t even care that you are grabbing their collar. The next step is to move your hips out in the direction of the cross collar lapel grip. Your opponent will begin to move to regain their stable position. When that move happens take your free hand to push their head into the ground while the cross collar lapel grip loops under their chin. As soon as you loop the lapel grip under the opponent’s push their head through that loop. The loop choke is a blood choke so you’ll have to hold it steady until they tap or pass out.

BJJ-Dealing with Groin Injury

BJJ Baltimore schools that teach Brazilian jiu-jitsu know that it’s an extremely combative martial arts where injuries are common. It takes some injuries 1-2 weeks to heal completely. Also, som injuries can take as long as 3-6 months long. Any injury that you encounter can seriously affect your jiu-jitsu career, so every injury must be taken seriously. Reinjury is a constant threat, therefore any area that is injured must be handled with care. The urge to get back out there will be hard to fight, but you must follow the doctor’s orders. 

As a competitior you may feel that you deserve to compete and don’t have to follow doctor’s orders since you’ve trained so hard. Following that mindset is not a viable option. There have been competitors who have competed injured knowing that they are injured and still did it anyways. Needless to say most of those competitors made their injury worst by fighting in the tournament.

A common injury in Brazilian jiu-jitsu is the groin injury. It’s so common because most of the BJJ fighters are not flexible in their hips or legs. When your opponent plays double-under on you with all their weight pressuring into your legs and hip it can strain your groin muscle. BJJ Baltimore students get people put into a lot of crazy positions in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. I’m sure at some point in time you felt as if you were doing a split because of the position your opponent had you in.

A groin injury can have a BJJ fighter on the injury list for 2-6 months. The groin muscle never fully recovers because it is always being used. Since a groin injury is a strain in the adductors you should do an exercise that extends along your inner thigh from your pelvic bones to your knee. A good exercise is to use a cable machine with the straps you can attach to your ankles. Stand side by side with the strap attached to the far ankle. Slowly raise your leg laterally do this for 10 repetitions each leg and 3 sets.

Motivate Yourself by Motivating Others

They have a goal they want to accomplish but when the time comes to start doing the task needed they choose to procrastinate. Fear can often be a reason why a person would do this.   They are afraid of failure.   The thought of failing can often shatter someone’s dreams.
