As you mentioned, the music is what first catches your attention. It has a very unique sound and the beat really propels the players to move. The movements are really unique and range from those for show to those that are extremely efficient.

It can be difficult to explain capoeira to others in that it has so many facets; the music, songs, fight, game, energy, instruments, history, culture...it goes on.
